Tom Heyman
DELIVER ME
The worlds of indie rock iconoclast John Vanderslice and alt-country
godfather Alejandro Escovedo rarely intersect, but in Tom Heyman,
they most certainly do. The San Francisco singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist
has toured and recorded with artists of most every stripe, from Vanderslice
and Escovedo to his current gigs with celebrated Americana artist
Chuck Prophet and the narcotic country band The Court and Spark, to
past collaborations with Okkervil River, David Dondero, Paula Frazier
and more.

Loquat
"It's Yours To Keep"
As organic instruments battle it out—sweetly—with
electronic beats and synths, San Francisco’s powerful live
act Loquat complicates what seems like happy pop music with bittersweet,
sarcastic vocals. It’s as if The Cardigans, Björk, The
Sundays and Massive Attack had a dysfunctional family picnic.

Parchman Farm EP
PARCHMAN FARM's debut EP is a hard rocking psychedelic quest for adventure
and sexy results. A filthy band with an even filthier sound, Parchman
Farm wrap their jean-clad legs around a fleshy column of fuzzed-out
sludge and then hump it all night long without a condom (or a follow-up
call). It's difficult to not give it up for a band with howling vocals,
cowbell, and sweet guitar leads like this. Parchman Farm believe in
running with the night, shooting first, barfing last, digging in, getting
down, staying true, staying alive, slapping fives, and always living
in the deep red. They are like a shark riding on top of an elephant,
just stomping and chomping everything in sight.

Kelley Stoltz
"Antique Glow"
Kelley Stoltz offers a beautiful and loose collection of
brilliant psych-pop-meets-Floyd-meets-folk. "Beefheart trashcan
blues, 60's garage with shortwave. Think Gorky's and Mercury Rev.
Think Stumptone meets Tom Waits produced by the Chocolate
Watch Band. 'Perpetual Night' is 'Here Comes the Sun' if Phil Spector
had produced it with the Radiophonics Workshop"
